Experiences and learnings
Having played the game (only) since May 2022, I have achieved the following as a Free-to-Play (“F2P”) player. Throughout these pages, I intend to share some of my thoughts so that it may help others, especially those new to the game or those returning to it after a long hiatus only to find so much has changed. This site is still Work-in-Progress and I don’t yet have subscriptions enabled, so if you happen to stumble upon this site, feel free to bookmark it for now, whilst I figure things out. Stay tuned!
April 2023
(after 11 months)
- Unlocked my first Galactic Legend (“GL”), Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (“SLKR”)
- This often allows me to beat opponents with GPs up to about 2M higher than mine, if they don’t yet have a GL
July 2023
(after 14 months)
- Promoted to Bronzium 3 in Grand Arena
- This gives my 90 crystals daily, compared to 55 – 75 in Carbonite
- As of 20 November 2023, I’ve been promoted yet again, now to Bronzium 1 giving me 100 crystals daily
September 2023
(after 16 months)
- Surpassed the 4M GP mark
- This gives me access to the Hard battles in Conquest as well as Proving Grounds which, if successful, gives me shards for Commander Ahsoka Tano, Maul, Boba Fett (Scion of Jango), Tie Interceptor, Darth Malgus, Ben Solo and Scythe
- With SLKR, getting the third crate in Hard Conquest is relatively easy (note that the first crate is already more valuable than than the red crate in Normal)
